The farm occupies some seven acres of well-maintained land in the rural surroundings of the mid-Norfolk countryside.

With modern, spacious and well-serviced buildings the farm is capable of handling a flock of up to 20,000 birds. The well-equipped hatchery can generate up to 30,000 ducklings on a weekly basis, giving the farm the flexibility to handle even the very largest orders.

The breeding flocks are reared in part open sheds, with floors that are strawed every other day, providing natural light yet at the same time providing protection against predators and the elements.

The food is of the best quality, monitored for each stage of the ducks' development and troughs give the livestock good access to water for drinking and preening. Whenever possible and practical, parentstock are reared on fields within the farm.
